Family Therapy

EMDR Intensives
Half Day (3 hours)
Full Day (6 hours)

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a modality that offers a focused and efficient way to change the way a traumatic memory is stored, negative feelings and beliefs and reduce emotional distress. EMDR Intensives offer processing without the start and stop of weekly sessions. EMDR Intensives require fewer sessions, involve a higher upfront cost than weekly sessions and require a different time commitment than weekly sessions. An EMDR Intensive might be more appropriate if you prefer fewer, longer sessions to address issues more deeply in a shorter timeframe.
Many clients have reported feeling a significant sense of relief after just one session, viewing it as a worthwhile investment in their mental health. I currently offer Virtual EMDR Intensives sessions in increments of Half Day, Full Day and 2 Full Days. In Person EMDR intensives are an additional $200 each session. EMDR Intensives are not covered by insurance.
Payment Plans are available with full payment due prior to beginning sessions.
Each intensive includes a 90 minute Pre-Intensive Session, 90 minute Post-Intensive Session and workbook for your personalized treatment plan.
By dedicating extended blocks of time, you can experience deeper processing, quicker resolution, and significant progress in their healing journey. We will schedule time for lunch, snacks, bathroom breaks, and any additional needs you have throughout the day. EMDR Intensives are scheduled at least 1-2 months ahead of time to fit your scheduling and treatment needs. Schedule a consultation to discuss pricing options for any of our services.

It is important to me to make mental health services accessible to as many people as possible which is why I offer $10 sessions with MHC-Interns for 10 sessions with no insurance needed. I am also in network with Aetna, Cigna, Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield, Oxford, Oscar Health, United Healthcare. Some insurances offer out of network coverage and full or partial reimbursement for mental health services paid by clients. Client’s are responsible for checking out of network coverage, deductible, referral needs and submitting superbill for reimbursement.

If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified your therapist at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay a $75.00 cancellation fee for those working with licensed therapist. There is a $25 cancellation fee for clients working with MHC- Interns.
